In 2018, Boxing Night Florence, was the subject of an exciting event at the Mandela Forum, then boxing went to the Estraforum in Prato, where the Association 'Un gancio al Parkinson' was presented, born from the intuition of Dr Maurizio Bertoni who has formed a partnership with Italian doctor Roberta Marongiu of Cornell University in New York who collaborates with the famous Gleason gym in NY, as well as collaborative relationships with public and private institutions, in addition to an approach with the Fresco Parkinson Institute.
February 2019, Boxing Night Florence and the 'Un gancio al Parkinson' Association present a project to involve Florentine citizens and institutions, on 6 February, the event held at the theatre....in the unusual location of the Teatro Verdi.
