A dinner organised by the Rotary Club Lorenzo il Magnifico was held at the Hotel Villa Medici.
The event was organised by president Dr Paola Del Mastio with the collaboration of Ms Cristina Vannuzzi.
The occasion included speeches by lawyer Massimiliano Baldesi, vice-president of the association, Dr Silvia Ramat of the Careggi Hospital, and Dr Maurizio Bertoni, president of the association, who presented the aims of 'Un Gancio al Parkinson' and its first results on patients suffering from the disease.
The presentation aroused great interest among Rotarians and plans have already been made to repeat similar events in the future.
